Help children celebrate differences. Put freedom into practice at school and beyond.
“As a current ELA teacher and librarian, my goal is to support students, authors, and educators who are actively participating in social transformation."
“I believe we are most empowered and free when we are of service to one another. I also believe we are most able to actively disrupt systems of oppression when we step into the creator, learner, and teacher within each of us, encouraging others to do the same.”
Writer, Scholar, Librarian & Educator
Every interaction teaches us what’s valuable in the world - especially those we have when we are young. As a librarian and veteran language arts teacher, I help schools and libraries meet every student’s educational needs. With more inclusive programming, you’ll be able to better support and empower young people of all ages and backgrounds.
My work spans school and library districts as well as professional organizations for educators in the US and around the globe. Thanks to well over a decade of experience developing and implementing instruction for learners of all ages, I specialize in content and programming that will inspire students and those that support them. This is what I offer:
Virtual and in-person workshops (for publishers, authors, teachers, librarians, and professional organizations)
Curriculum and discussion guides
Professional development series’
Interviews for authors and publishers
Blogging and other authorship for major publications
